1953-1954 Basketball Champs

Relaxed and confident, the LaFollette High Owls are pictured before they met West High of Nashville in the State High School Basketball championship game last night in Nashville. They lost this game 42-40 and were runnersup in the State.

Coach John R. W. Brown was the basketball coach who led LHS OWLS to four state tournaments compiling a career total of 204 wins and 24 losses.
